Maino recently turned himself in to police on suspicion that he assaulted porn star Mellanie Monroe in an SUV at New York’s Meatpacking District on Tuesday (October 21).
Now, Maino is fighting back publicly. According to a picture text post on the rapper’s Instagram, the Brooklyn native relays that he is “staying strong” and is willing to be “mocked, hated and misunderstood.” The caption also reads, “Believe half of wut u see and none of wut u hear. #DREAMER #KOB2nov25.”
Since his arrest, Maino has denied all charges. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and was arraigned on it in Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday (October 21). It is unlikely he will face felony charges since Monroe did not sustain any visible injuries.
