Lyrics Born has been tearing up stages left and right. The Quannum representative showed up at festivals around the nation, and soon will hit many more. On top of it all, he’s prepping a live album and working on various other projects. DX was able to catch up with LB as he discussed huge crowds, new projects and more.
Recently LB lit up the Coachella stage alongside Kanye West, Murs and Madonna. With such an eclectic mixture of artists, LB was able to see many favorites.
I had a blast. Coachella has become the wood stock of our generation, and I was honored to be there. I liked Block Party, Kanye, and Gnarls Barkley, he said of the show.
Another huge festival hitting crowds soon is Lollapalooza, which LB will be a part of.
”I know it’s going to be crazy. I love playing in front of a lot of people,” he added.
With so many concerts lined up, he’s still managed to find time for the studio.
”The new material is coming along very well,” he claimed of his new project. Still in the early stages of the LP, he didn’t reveal who may appear on the album.
“Too early to reveal any names, but it’s looking ridiculous.”
He’s got a tour and more albums on the way. Currently, he’s piecing together a live album and finishing up work on Joyo Velarde’s album, which should hit stores soon
