Lupe Fiasco has been left in sheer bewilderment after he uploaded a video on social media of himself checking out all the items he asked for on his backstage rider.

On Friday (May 13), the “Kick, Push” rapper took to social media to show all of the items that awaited him and his two guests at an unknown event.

“They really stick to the rider,” Lupe joked. “Look at all of this. What am I s’posed to do with all this? Look at the spread. What am I s’posed to do with all this? Double fruit plate, double sandwich plate, 100 towels, two irons, look at this. Three loafs of bread, two big-ass bags of chips. Look at all this. Steel bowls. A case of water. It’s three of us in here!”

Lupe Fiasco’s backstage rider looks like a foodie’s dream with an assortment of pop, candy, and other items for him to enjoy — including multiple irons and electric kettles.

In other Lupe news, the Chicago rapper returned with a new track last month — a collaboration with Chicago-based artist SentRock.

SentRock make a hella-cop drop, off top/ Pass the akhs to the lost flock fops, air fools/ On the opps, and flew, also look around/ Because down ain’t the only birds eye view/ Westside too, sky blue, Chi you Bible/ Put bands in our hands like a ‘I do’ bridal,” he raps on the track in a triple-entendre.

Even outside of the music world, Lupe continues to level up. In March 2023, the Chicago rhymer was named a Saybrook Fellow at Yale University.

The 41-year-old referred to Yale as his “other favorite school” outside of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), where he was appointed a visiting professor last year.

“Proud to announce I’ve been chosen to be a Saybrook Fellow at my OTHER favorite school in the whole wide world outside of MIT…@Yale,” Lupe tweeted. “Shout to Tom Near for nominating me to a place where against all odds two Chicagoans found a home in the Ivy League.”

In that same month, Lupe Fiasco was named 2023 Rap Laureate at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. library in Washington, D.C.
