    1. I’m a huge Lupe fan, been following him his whole career. But after Lasers, “I Don’t Wanna Care Right Now”

I’ll see him live next time around

      1. lmao. the only way I’m going a show is if he’s performing songs from all albums and food and liquor 2. lasers was a let down for me

      2. Lasers was a letdown. I went to his show when he came into town before it dropped and he was on some rock and roll shit which was cool, but it definitely robbed the songs of their quality…and it didn’t help that B.O.B’s set was hella long too, it like robbed the climax of seeing Lupe…

    2. * Lasers was different (musically)….Food & Liquor is still my favorite album….BUT

      * the music industry is a BUSINESS, their ONLY goal is to make money…

      * since Lupe is on a major label, he had to do something creatively that would still be marketable to mainstream media outlets if he wanted to get this album out to the masses….

      * Lupe disguised his deep content and message in Rock & Roll…his message is MORE in-depth/revolutionary on Lasers than The Cool AND Food & Liquor, the sound is just more listener friendly…(Kanye masks his social messages in popppy dance friendly tracks, BUT he still has a message)

      * if you want your message to reach MILLIONS, (on a major label) you HAVE to pull a Lupe or Kanye move…if you want to just drop knowledge (on an indie label) you will be Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, Brother Ali (which i like them all) but their message doesn’t get out as far as Lupe/Kanye
