Ludacris threw out the first pitch ahead of the Atlanta Braves’ game against the Colorado Rockies, and he had a helping hand from some old friends.

To throw out the ceremonial pitch during Wednesday (September 4)’s MLB matchup, the rap legend wore a pair of giant arms which fans may remember from his famous “Get Back” video — and it turns out they are the exact same props from the classic clip.

The oversized limbs certainly helped Luda out on the baseball field as he successfully launched the ball to home plate.

Fans in attendance were also gifted a Ludacris bobblehead, but only if they were one of the first 15,000 to attend.

Before the game, a number of Ludacris’ classic hits were played over the soundsystem courtesy of the rapper and actor’s official tour DJ, with art from his albums also showing on the big screen.

The Braves also hosted a food truck called Luda’s at The Battery, based on the rapper’s Chicken and Beer restaurant in Atlanta.

The Fast & Furious star was also in the news recently after he worried fans by drinking water straight from a glacier while on a trip to Alaska.

In a video posted on his Instagram last month, the rapper and actor could be seen stood on the edge of an ice cap and filling up his flask with seemingly unfiltered water.

“I couldn’t come here and just have a show,” Luda said in the clip. “You know I got a bucket list — or as I like to call it the fuck it list. I’ve never tasted fresh glacial water ever in my life, and this is a first. Here we go!”

The “Act a Fool” hitmaker then took a sip of the ice-cold water and lets out a loud “oh my God!” while running away in amazement.

He added in his Instagram caption: “Water So Good It Tastes Like GOD Made It. Well, Because He Did.”

After it was pointed out to Luda that the water is not safe to drink as it may contain disease and bacteria, he denied he was suffering from any ill health.

He said: “As I drank it, I felt like every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same damn time […] I feel like Superman. Love to all the fans. It’s different ways of life. I’m just trying to take y’all places and show y’all things. Come on now.”
