It’s alleged that Williams and Smith fired shots at Govan and her passenger after getting out of their vehicle. The rapper — who was only 25 years old at the time— was pronounced dead at the scene, whereas her passenger was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Williams was later found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen in a parking lot across from where Govan was found. He was transported to the hospital and charged with involvement in the shooting.
Smith is being held on a $500,000 bond while Williams’ is set at $150,000.
