Logic has sold off a portion of his catalog in a deal with US-based music and rights company Influence Media Partners for an undisclosed eight-figure sum.

According to a press release on Thursday (June 29), the deal spans 185 of the Maryland rapper’s songs. This includes his multi-platinum single “1-800-273-8255” with Alessia Cara and Khalid, “Everyday” with Marshmello, “Homicide” with Eminem and “Sucker For Pain” with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons and Ty Dolla $ign.

The company said the Logic deal “further solidifies Influence Media’s investment in the future of Hip Hop within the music publishing and content rights marketplace” and that it “aligned with their mission to bolster ‘modern evergreen’ music.” It added: “Influence Media will continue to expand the impact of Logic’s contribution on pop culture.”

Logic added in his own statement: “Making music has always been a creative outlet and a form of therapy for me, and I’ve been humbled by how deeply it has connected with people around the world.

“It’s important to me that the positive messages of my music continue to reach new audiences, and I’m excited to partner with Rene and the Influence Media Partners team to make a further impact through creativity.”

In early 2022, Influence Media announced a $750million fund to invest in what it calls “high-value compositions from diverse artists” with backing from BlackRock Alternative Investors and Warner Music Group. Thus far, the company has invested in over 25 music catalogs – including a huge chunk of Future’s last September.

Future’s deal included 612 song from between 2004 and 2020, including “Life Is Good” and “Jumpman” with Drake, “King’s Dead” with Kendrick Lamar, “Selfish” with Rihanna, “Low Life” with The Weeknd and “Mask Off.”

In a statement, Influence Media Partners said it was “honored” to be partnering with him. The final deal was reportedly in the “high eight figures.”

In other Logic news, he just partnered with Better Help to provide one month of free therapy for fans and people who are interested in seeking out therapy.

The partnership with the College Park rapper stemmed from him having prior a relationship with the telehealth company, according to a press release.

“We’re thrilled to partner with such a talented artist who shares our determination to de-stigmatize mental health issues and expand access to resources,” Director of Partnerships for Better Health, Oliver Sinson, said. “We’re passionate about making mental health care available to everyone, and this partnership will help us reach even more people who can benefit from therapy.”

Logic also issued a statement about the burgeoning alliance with Better Health. “It’s no secret to my fans and loved ones that therapy changed my life,” he said. “I try to be open about my relationship with mental health with the hope that I can inspire others to do the same.”

He continued: “Breaking down the stigma of seeking treatment is so important. But stigma aside, access to treatment is equally important.
