Logic has given Playboi Carti props after he listened to Whole Lotta Red for the first time while on a recent live stream.

The Maryland rapper was in the midst of playing Fortnite when two players began chatting about Carti’s latest album, with one of them calling it the “greatest album of all time probably.”

“What are y’all talking about?” Logic chimed in, either seemingly unaware of Whole Lotta Red or not paying close attention to the conversation.

Whole Lotta Red. You gotta tap into Whole Lotta Red, Logic. I’m so serious,” the fan replied.

“For sure,” Logic responded.

The Bobby Tarantino rapper then heeded the fan’s advice and checked out Playboi Carti’s project, sharing a few thoughts while listening to it on his live stream.

“Let’s see what’s up with this,” Logic said before laughing at Carti’s “I won’t stress about a bitch, that’s not my slut” line from “Rockstar Made.”

“Yo, this is dope. This shit sounds like a movie,” he added while bumping the Kanye West-assisted “Go2DaMoon.”

He went on to shout out “the homies” 808 Mafia, whose producer tag appears on “Beno!,” and concluded: “Ok cool. That shit’s dope! I’m gonna listen to the rest of the album later.”

Whole Lotta Red dropped after years of anticipation on December 25, 2020, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 100,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week. The album became Playboi Carti’s first No. 1 and second top 10 placement of his career.

Lil Uzi Vert recently teased new music with Carti, claiming in a Twitch interview with Adin Ross back in February that they’ve recorded over 40 songs together for their long-awaited collab album 16*29.

“He’s another one that stay in his lane, nobody can jump in his lane,” Uzi said of the Atlanta rapper. “Anyboody who try to jump in Carti lane kill thyself.”

As for Logic, he dropped off his latest album College Park in February, which featured appearances from Joey Bada$$, Redman, Bun B, Norah Jones and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, among others.

The project marked Logic’s first independent album after he severed ties with Def Jam in 2022. His final release on the label was Vinyl Days, which he revealed was recorded in just 12 days to accelerate his departure.

The DMV lyricist will also soon be hitting the road, and he’ll be bringing Juicy J along for the ride. The “1995” collaborators will ship off as part of the College Park Tour, which kicks off in Madison, Wisconsin on May 25.
