Even though LimeWire recently lost to the RIAA and still faces lawsuits from numerous music publishing companies, the group behind the notorious P2P program is already planning a legal re-launch. The new LimeWire will function as a cloud-based program that for a subscription fee, will allow users to stream and download apps and media with a number of different devices. It will even play a user’s iTunes and automatically sync any new downloads to iTunes as well.
“Users will have complete and instant access to their entire library and catalog across their desktop, devices, and in the cloud,” an anonymous company executive said. “By syncing iTunes playlists and content to the cloud, users’ existing libraries are available to access and stream to a wide range of connected devices.”
Although the company faces a bevy of lawsuits ahead, sources says many label executives are supporting the re-launch, which is planned for a late 2010 release.
welp thats better than what Napster did
what i also reccommend them doing is to have a better webdesign team as well as a much better web hoster because limewire is too slow to download if you do more than 5 down loads at a time this and let alone if the users are stingy with their software than you have to wait for them to ok it which sometimes can take hours
as far as the pricing ..since its quote un quote ..CLOUD..which should be free in the first place(openoffice,googledocs,etc..) the price should be less than 5 dollars a registerd user
im glad you can down load and access lime wire with multiple devices when it comes out which is great but what about up loading?

I use LimeWire to hear some new shit. If I like it I go buy it because the quality is total trash from LimeWire. Plus all the rap on that program is from Mixtapes with Djs yellin retarded shit throughout the songs. Or the volume is 2 high or 2 low.

Feeble minded. Now go look up what I just called you.
Some simple spelling errors you might want to work on “r” is spelled “are”, “wud” is spelled “would”, “b4” doesn’t have any #’s in it at all & is spelled “before”, & “4get” also doen’t have any #’s in as well & is spelled “before”. Good luck on your next spelling bee but the odds are stacked against you.

It is about time! Thank you to all who supported in taking down these pirate thieves. My guess is that after the smoke clears, perhaps those at Limewire can point the fingers back at the corporate record companies. For decades the very record companies that are complaining of lost revenues due to illegal file sharing, have been illegal in activity with assuming Intellectual Property rights of artists. Perhaps the judicial system would be in favour of listening to artists and their allegations. Canadian Intellectual Property Organization has not been able to hold any American Music corporations responsible for this kind of activity. Recognizing the need to pay for services by all is an appropriate behaviour by all concerned. Michael Dean Hajas has brought to the attention of Gary Wade Leak, Bruce Scavuzzo, Eric Lavine, Robert John Mutt Lange, Matt Haywood, and Lord Henry Hadaway, of Intellectual Property infringement. This would be a great opportunity for these individuals to also tell the absolute truth about where they obtained “Slave 4 You†released by Britney Spears in 2001. Michael Dean Hajas wrote this hook and submitted to Matt Haywood of HHO Publishing in Sept. of 2001 and has not been compensated one cent to date. Good Luck All!
