Sum times it’s tough 2b tough & even tougher 2b me,” Lil Wayne wrote on Twitter. “I ain’t shit but my mother, my kids & their mothers r EVERYTHING & dat I know, so on the days ? everything, I use dat as the answer 2 it all.”

Miami-Dade Police raided Lil Wayne’s mansion today (November 3).

Authorities were granted permission to seize property from Weezy’s estate after the New Orleans’ emcee failed to pay for a private jet he leased from Miami’s Signature Group. Reportedly he owes the company $2 million.

Huffington Post reports Dwayne Carter failed to pay the required $55,000 per month lease on his Gulf Stream II. Initial requests to repo possessions from the rapper were denied because the company could not prove that the rapper had $2 million in assets inside the multimillion dollar waterfront property.

Miami-Dade county judge Lisa Walsh granted permission to raid the property only after Signature Group was able to obtain pictures that proved that the property contained assets worth upwards of the amount owed. According to the Miami New Times, a real estate agent who’d recently visited the estate was able to verify the value of the possessions.

TMZ reports that it received a copy of the court order “which allows Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s deputies to break the locks of the house and doors if necessary to gain entry and confiscate seizable assets.”

Miami’s WSVN-TV was on hand filming the raid, which you can view below. HipHopDX will keep you posted on further developments.

    1. “Too much money ain’t enough money, You know the Feds listenin, nigga what money?”

      -Tunechi da prophet-

    2. “Too much money ain’t enough money, You know the Feds listenin, nigga what money?” -Tunechi da prophet- Real Shit

    3. Too much money aint enough money. You know the feds listening, nigga what money? Hahaha this does not mean Wayne is broke people. It just means he doesnt want to pay the company. Unfortunately now he’ll be forced to pay. But dont get it twisted Weezy isnt broke.

      1. How the fuck do you know Lil Wayne’s financial standings? You don’t, so why you come posting on here like you’re his lawyer or boyfriend or some shit

      2. How do you know what Wayne’s financial standing is? Why you come here posting like you’re his lawyer or boyfriend. You just hoping he isn’t broke, you don’t know for sure.

    4. Been a World international Star doesn’t mean Wayne shouldn’t be raided but his was at the fault side, so necessary decisions should be taken, him alone cannot win the Government, so it was a lease undertook and he failed, so the feds had to do what they could.

      1. Fuck you.straight bitch.what happened some NY boys fuck your chick?got people everywhere who do shit south aint nothing special

    5. The comments on this site show how delusional and ignorant the average motherfucker in America is now. All you see is “haha he’s broke” or “shut up he’s got more money than you!”. Why is everyone so concerned with the next man’s pockets, a stranger at that. Can we just get back to being listeners and fans instead of acting like a bunch of groupies and jilted lovers? It’s embarrassing.

      1. The difference between “listeners and fans” as oppose to “groupies and jilted lovers”? I’m confused. Ain’t that the same. You may be a listeners but you are in the small, shit, not even a percent of the “fans” are “listeners” Don’t believe? Ask somebody what they think of a new song without them looking at some comments or hearing someone else’s opinion… they won’t have a honest opinion. They don’t listen.

    6. fuck sensaye stormcloak we don’t care about his money we JUST SAYIN. I guess you IQ too high for the average mf.

    7. his response was terribly written and was hard to understand what he was actually saying. I wish for once in a real life situation like this. They would just talk properly and come correct. I don’t know if he thinks it makes him sound cool, All it makes him look like he can’t talk of form a sentence properly. We’re fighting for respect and this doesn’t help.

    8. Its funny that the people who are super smart (or that think they are) and the people who get what wayne is saying…and then the people who could care less but decide to comment anyway.

    9. wayne gon be wayne no matter who thinks they can be the god of hip hop nigga. You can’t steal the wave from this tidal! My goons still with me! Eagle Street bitch! YM! Don’t forget the F mf! #NoCeilings2

    10. Anytime “THEY” get an opportunity to embarrass you they will, so pay your bills. No one here knows how much money Wayne has. People forget that wealthy people pay upwards of 40% in income taxes. So, take the 20 mil he made last year, subtract 8 mil for taxes, 1 mil to both the manager and agent. Add in the child support, taking care of the homies, the crib, the car maintenance and the money he spends living the life he lives. And finally, add in what Baby steals from him. Obviously, all speculation on my part, but if you have the money why would you not pay. You signed the contract!

    11. whitey always trying to keep a nigga down. nigga working hard to make music and hoes are worried about jet shit. foh

    12. So, birdman thievin ass livin off his artists money, his artists goin broke cuz they can’t get their money, the man comes and reposesses all. What have we learned?

    13. Don’t go crying weezy f* little bitch*…I’m not the type to step on someone when they’re down*….But…..the muthafucka had the audacity to make a song called No Worries*

    14. The thanks you get? Somebody fronted you a jet and you didn’t pay, that’s the thanks that you givin them? He act like he been saving the world or some bullshit. This type of arrogant shit that make me hate this dumbass. Just take this L and pay up

    15. Could this be more than it seems? Maybe Baby got something to do with it…Im glad I typed this shit..cant stand calling a grown man baby

    16. I have a hunch Wayne is struggling financially. Most of these rappers are broke on the DL but put up the image that they’re larger than life. Pathetic if you ask me. It’s also the problem with the black community today as a whole. Everyone thinks we are all just ignorant fools that live recklessly and end up broke. With shit like this, can you blame them?

    17. fuck you AR racist people can’t be justified by lil wayne over spending you’re ignorant not my culture my people. My people my culture are smart and capable but white people systematically hold us back with the war on drugs and unfair schools. fuck you AR you don’t know shit about what a real black man is about

      1. Actually nigga, you’re the ignorant ass who don’t know shit. Acting all tough behind a keyboard. Man, keep your mouth shut, young ass nigga. You won’t do shit anyway.

    18. Every KKK member should be hung burned and peed on. WE SHOULD KILL EVERY SINGLE KKK MEMBER. CUT THERE HEADS OFF. FEED THEM TO THE TALIBAN. LET ISIS TORTURE THEM FUCK THE KKK. THE INDIANA SENATOR IS IN THE KKK SHOULD BE KILLED NOW!

    19. Is sad that in our society today no matter what level you’re on rich or poor if your black then you’re still considered the suspects in the eyes of the law little Wayne should have been more respected then to have the courts running to his home giving the cops and authorities permission to take whatever they want I think that’s another way to keep entertainers working for the rest of their life it shows no matter how much money you have you’re still not respected in the eyes of the society Lil Wayne needs to sell his house in Miami and move asap

    20. I’ve never heard of anything like this before. People have owed more money than that, and they never get raided like that.

    21. “”I ain’t shit but my mother, my kids & their mothers r EVERYTHING & dat I know, so on the days ? everything, I use dat as the answer 2 it all.””

is there a translation for this fuckwit?

    22. Wayne will all ways be my dude riding matter if ure rich are poor he just late on his Mf bills so what I wish he gimme a cup of that syurp so I can get me one of these w bitches to gimme sum head u I’m in denver
