Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kanye West and Drake Team Up

Stars have united, according to various reports, as Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kanye West and Drake have apparently teamed up to re-do “Forever,” a song previously released by Drake with assistance from Weezy and Nutt Da Kid. The track is slated for release later this week.

The song, which is rumored to have been produced by Boy-1da, will appear on the soundtrack to More Than a Game, a documentary about a high school basketball team in Ohio, featuring a young Lebron James and his high school teammates Dru Jaoyce, Slan Cotton, Willie Mcgee and Romeo Travis. It is said to feature exclusive interviews and home video footage along with family stories. To go along with that, early footage of the film shows pictures of a very young James an inside look at his team’s huddles and games. The film is currently slated to be released in October through Lionsgate.

Aside from “Forever,” Mary J. Blige’s “Stronger” is said to be on the soundtrack. The song was released with a video as a first look into what the movie will be about earlier this year.

According to MTV News [click here], a video for the song will be shot next month by Hype Williams. According to Mack Maine, the President of Young Money, the song will also get a surprise hook at the last minute from an R&B star that has yet to be announced.

There’s gonna be an unexpected feature on the hook,” he told MTV. “Right now we have three different R&B singers writing the hook to see who comes up with the best one. I’mma be shocked. So I can’t tell you who it’s gonna be.
