Lil Wayne has reacted to news of Aaron Rodgers leaving his beloved Green Bay Packers, and he doesn’t want the door to hit him on the way out.

Weezy F. Baby joined The Cari Champion Show on Wednesday (March 15), where there appeared to be no love lost between Wayne and Rodgers, who said on The Pat McAfee Show that he intends to play for the New York Jets this season but is still awaiting a trade from Green Bay.

“It wasn’t about winning anymore,” Wayne said when asked about Rodgers’ legacy. “He literally turned into Brett Favre. When he was so different and also said he was nothing like him and also spoke bad on him and said how Brett wasn’t embracing of him and accepting of whatever.

“You turned right into Brett, man. You wasn’t embracing the other guys. You sure didn’t embrace Jordan Love. You had a problem embracing the new receivers.”

A couple of other cold-hearted clips found the New Orleans rap deity bidding good riddance to Rodgers, giving him a simple “goodbye” and audibly celebrating his imminent departure.

After 18 years in Green Bay, Rodgers leaves the franchise as the all-time passing touchdowns leader and with one Super Bowl victory after taking down the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011’s Super Bowl XLV.

However, it’s not a done deal yet that Rodgers will be suiting up for Gang Green as the Jets and Packers have yet to agree on trade compensation, but reports continue to emerge that a deal is close.
