Between the solo single “You Was Right” and his guest appearance on Migos’ mainstream breakout chart dominator “Bad and Boujee,” Lil Uzi Vert is on a roll.
Now he has another RIAA certification under his belt with “Money Longer,” which has earned platinum status. So far, that gives the Philly native three singles selling/streaming over one million alongside a gold plaque for DJ Esco’s “Too Much Sauce” featuring Future.
Over the weekend, Uzi Vert’s producer and Generation Now head, Don Cannon, produced a live stream answering questions about Luv is Rage 2.
“Luv is Rage [2] is not dropping no time soon,” said Cannon. “It’s not gonna be a long time from now, but not within this month. We’re still working on the album.”
In the stream, Cannon mentioned guest appearances from Lil Yachty and that recently released Uzi Vert single “XO TOUR Llif3” is on the project as well.
