Lil Scrappy Writes To God On Latest LP

Lil Scrappy is releasing his latest LP, Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live. Scrap opened up to us and others about what listeners should expect from the new album.

“I’m saying all my problems. I’m writing a letter to God,” he told MTV recently. “I
know he doesn’t have it out to hurt me. I’m smaller than him, but I
just want to know: Why in the hell am I caught up? I’m just confused.
My heart is confused. And I address that.”

Earlier this year, he also spoke to DX and let us know what it was like going in the booth for this LP.

    “I
don‘t even write my shit. I just go right in the booth and wild out!
So, half of these n*ggas that’s writing and sitting down thinking of
what to say, it‘s already in me! It‘s in my heart. That‘s what I do. I
am what I say, you feel me?”
    he told us.

He also let us know that working with 50 Cent and Lil Jon as co-executive producers was like having the “best of both worlds.”

Don’t expect to solely hear Lil Jon beats. Jazze Pha, J.R. Rotem and Eminem all provided production for the LP as well.

The album is set to hit shelves Dec. 5 via BME/Reprise Records.
