Lil Reese Shows Off Shooting Injury & Demands $1M For VladTV Interview

Lil Reese appears to be back home after he was shot last week. A couple of days after resurfacing on Instagram Live, the Chi-Town native has shared a photo of his injury to the social media platform.

In the photo, the staples in his neck are painfully visible, presumably the result of a bullet tearing through his throat. Judging by his caption, he’s thankful to be alive.

“Made 4 it,” he wrote. “Lifes a gamble I got hella luck.”

Although Reese expressed his apparent gratitude, he kept business on his mind, too. In a tweet from Saturday (November 16), the 26-year-old responded to a fan who suggested DJ Vlad would do anything to get him on his couch. He responded by insisting he’d need $1 million to make it happen.

“Tell him I need a million for this story,” he wrote. “this shit ain’t fake or free shit. bigger than 50 rick Ross and whoever els.

Vlad responded with a hard pass.

“Very happy that you survived the shooting,” he said. “But nobody’s going to pay you even 1 % of $1 million for that interview.”

Reese was shot at a busy intersection in the Chicago suburb of County Club Hills on November 11. Investigators said a car pulled up on Reese and fired multiple rounds from an AK-47. Witness reportedly said the suspect fled in a white or grey Chevy Malibu with tinted windows and Wisconsin plates.

Lil Reese is evidently on the mend. Days after being shot in the neck, the 26-year-old Chicago native resurfaced on Instagram Live, although his face was mostly covered up by a hoodie.

In the clip, he appears to be sitting in a car and listening to some R&B. However, he doesn’t say a word.

Reese — real name Tavares Taylor — was reportedly shot at a busy intersection in County Club Hills, a south suburb of Chicago, on Monday afternoon (November 11). Investigators revealed a car pulled up on Reese and fired multiple rounds with an AK-47.

Witnesses say Reese left in a separate car and was discovered by police at South Suburban Medical Center in Hazel Crest. He was later transferred to a Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in “critical condition.”

The suspect reportedly fled in a white or grey Chevy Malibu with tinted windows and Wisconsin plates.

    1. It’s sad that people are talking about mass shootings and gun control etc, no one mentions Chicago. Ever. More people are killed in CHI a year than in all mass shootings in the US during the same time frame combined. I don’t see Republicans or Democrats giving a shit. People speak as if these guys are all savages doing the world a favor killing each other off. They’re kids that are products of their environments. The price of a couple of military drones could change their environment for the better, forever, maybe divert those funds for military weapons to save lives? Literally 2 or 3 would build some reC centers and pay for college tuitions. Truly sad. That wouldn’t change things over night, but it would be something.

      1. The only reason they never talk about Chicago is simple. You need to see some ”drill music” videos on YT to understand perfectly what’s going on.

These kids don’t kill eachothers only for a drug spot like street gangs in other cities dp, but…For music.

They are not considerated as ‘street gangs’ but ‘Sets’

-Each block is represented by a different ‘set’.
-Each ‘set’ have ennemies called ‘opps’
-Each ‘set’ taunting ennemies about dead friends on music videos
-Each ‘set’ have lot of visibility and followers on social medias
-Each ‘set’ locaion are well known by they ‘opps’
No Street Leadership + Unstable Kids + Retaliation + Guns in Music Videos…All that mixture fueled by Social Medias! Sadly, you see now whats happening.

Medias trying now the ‘Far from the eyes, far from the heart’ strategy…Giving them no opportunities to expose them messages

        1. Shut the fuck up and stop believing everything you see in a music video or hear in a rap song you lame wanna know why these guys gettin shot up? Cause they made it outa the city and their are others they came up around who still struggle and now these rappers are worth millions and they see them and they see and easy lick which was the case with lil reese because of who he associates with now see the other cases fuck yeah they are because of drugs debts revenge petty shit you name it get the fuck outa here with your dumb shit

          1. I always dreamed about meeting a Nobel price of litterature nominee like you…Seriously, kid, you think i’m your mommy or what? Lol, got no time to lose with y’all internet bullies, keyboard warriors and online OG’z. Jay the tough boi, back to your PS4 bullying…You clearly can’t stand the heat in real life

      2. Lol! They’ve been trying this for decades. Even if they pay for their housing and ship them out of the hood, they still commit crimes. It’s a parenting issue and giving them more free stuff won’t help.

        1. A ref center and college tuition for people qualified doesn’t count as “free shit.” It’s an investment in a community that returns to the community forever.

          1. Nobody going to college is going to return to a war stricken zone full of people who don’t care about their life. These guys have every opportunity to go to college as everybody else – they just prefer shooting each other. Giving them, again, more free stuff isn’t going to do anything. Again…the only thing you can do with these people is relocate them (Section 8 vouchers), but again, that always leads to more crime in the areas they are moved to.

    2. Corny ass cornball. Somebody mad bout that lame music he dropping and talking bout happy vet day to himself cuz he from the PJs. Nigga L7 and deserve that shit.

    3. He’s lucky he only caught a shot to the neck and survived. Usually if someone pulls out the Chopper(Ak47) its game over for the recipient.

    4. All these goofy ass motherfuckers on here talkin about ak-47’s like their mythical haha i own 3 ak 47’s 7 ar-15’s over 20 pistols 6 shotguns and probably 12 random assorted rifles and probably somewhere around 20,000+ rounds of ammo all legaly in my state so i guess stay the fuck away from my place haha

        1. If thats what makes someone a badass i guess huh? Not really half are hunting firearms the other half are for some range fun or whatever else may come and i can easily drop 2000 rounds at the range in a 2 hour morning alone haha

        1. Entitled to your opinion pussy not much of an opinion on the internet though little keyboard warrior your your mama shoulda spit her brothers nut up into the trash and aborted your inbred ass world woulda been better for it

      2. You will be crucified troll. Nailed to a cross. I will bathe in your blood as you hang on a upside cross. Your crucifixion awaits.

        1. He not worthy enough to even be crucified upside down. Paul was cause he didnt feel he was worthy enough to be crucified right side up so that clown should jus be impaled on a big ass stake somewhere.

    5. The story is pretty obvious. Dudes from a rival gang in CHI tried to take him out because he is a big name in his gang. He should do what Chief Keef did, move to CA or NY. The suburbs isn’t far enough in CHI, obviously. I don’t fuck with drill music, not my cup of tea, I see the appeal though, not shitting on it, still… dude is a human being and I’m glad to see he is OK. Hopefully he is using this as a chance for change and to move forward. Get out of Illinois bro. Live.

      1. How? He gonma be soundin like that lady with throat cancer and a hole in her throat if he try talkin with where that bullet landed his rap careers over
