Lil Reese doesn’t appear to be having the best week, as he’s now being caught on camera fighting a group of women in downtown Chicago.

On Friday (October 20), rumors began circulating that the rapper had been shot in Chicago — although this was subsequently debunked when an associate of the former Def Jam signee posted proof of the “fake news” on social media.

Lil Reese’s sister also took to her Instagram Stories to shutdown the rumors of his shooting. “Before y’all keep steady DM and steady calling and texting me, it’s nothing wrong with my brother! That shit is so old ppl just weird as hell out here!!!” she wrote.

But the drama doesn’t stop there. On Saturday (October 21), footage surfaced showing Lil Reese brawling with a group of women and a man. The disturbing footage shows the rapper repeatedly pushing, punching, and even grabbing some of the people involved by the neck.

Check out the footage below:

This isn’t the first time the Chicago rapper (real name Tavares Lamont Taylor) has been involved in an altercation with a woman.

Back in 2012, footage emerged of Lil Reese repeatedly slapping and pulling the hair of a woman who was later revealed to be his baby mama.

At the time, Reese took to his Twitter page to write that the clip is years old and that its release is an attempt at “haters” trying to “see a mf Dwn,” and expressed no regrets about his behavior.

But in April 2022, he revealed to VladTV that he regretted his actions. “I wish I could take it back,” he said. “I would have never did it. I would have never did that shit though.”

Despite claiming that he’s not a violent person, Lil Reese has been involved in a few other altercations. Just two months after telling VladTV that he “regretted” beating up his baby mama, he was thrown in a Texas jail for allegedly assaulting a family member.

According to online Harris County Jail records, his original booking date was May 19 2022, and was denied bond. Five days later, his bond was set at $60,000 but was never posted.

Reese’s arrest for assaulting a family member came  a year after the Chicago native got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend and was subsequently charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. Reese was arrested in May 2021 around 10:30 p.m. local time after police were called to his home with reports of a fight.
