When Lil Kim went away to prison, it seemed as though she’d be gone for quite a long time. Now, the femcee is gearing up for an early release, which came quicker than anyone expected.
The rapper is scheduled for an early release due to good behavior. Kim is to be released today, Monday at around 6:00pm. Her release from Philadelphia’s Federal Detention Center doesn’t equate to freedom, however. The star will have to remain under house arrest for 30 days. Furthermore, the ex-Junior Mafia first lady will be on probation for 3 years.
Last week, Lil Kim was in the spotlight after her mother and Remy Ma felt she was robbed of a Best Female award at the BET Awards.
According to Teen Music, Remy lashed out about what she felt was a robbery.
”I am going to call Lil’ Kim tonight and tell her we was robbed,” she claimed after the show.
Kim’s mom added that her daughter would be out soon and that Kim would get other awards.
Time will tell.
