Last week, Lil Flip was arrested in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana after reportedly being found with drugs and a firearm.
Flip was foudn with a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle and some marijuana, leading to a litany of charges: third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, and speeding.
Flip has posted bond, however, and took to Twitter to complain about the arrest – and the officer who made it. Flip explained that he had a license for the gun, and that the substance he was found with wasn’t marijuana:
““#FRESHOUT???? GOOGLE OFFICER#9845 DENNIS, BUCKINGHAM IN MANSFIELD ,LOUISIANA I HAVE A GUN LICENSE..???? AND BLACK N MILD GUTS AIN’T GANJA???? ME SAVAGE BEEN OUT SINCE YESTER DAY…IF MY GUN WAS A PROBLEM WHY IS IT STILL IN MY TRUNK.. IT’S ALL GOOD,” he Tweeted.
