Lil Duval is seemingly fed up over the ongoing dispute between Babyface and Anita Baker, and has even asked Dionne Warwick to step in.

On Tuesday (June 13), the comedian took Twitter, with the hopes that the legendary singer would be able offer any help.”Hey @dionnewarwick can u squash this baby face Anita baker beef for us please,” he wrote.

However, the following day, the Grammy Hall of Fame winner made it clear that the situation was not any of her business. “Baby, that ain’t got nothing to do with me,” she tweeted.

Given Warwick’s current issues, it seems appropriate that she wouldn’t get involved in the drama. According to TMZ, the singer has had to cancel an upcoming show after suffering a “medical incident.”

As for the trouble between Babyface and Anita Baker, the “Whip Appeal” singer was tapped to appear as a special guest on her The Songstress tour, which kicked off in February.

However, during a tour stop at Newark’s Prudential Center in May, Babyface was unable to perform due to “technical difficulties,” and Baker’s performance was delayed. As a result, the internet has gone crazy with speculation about what actually happened.

Most recently, Baker claimed to be experiencing “cyberbullying” from the singer’s fans, or “Kenny’s Crazies” as she referred to them. In response, the Rapture singer revealed that she ultimately decided to remove Babyface from the tour completely.

“After silently, enduring cyberbullying, verbal abuse, and threats of violence from the fanbase of our special guest [and] … in the interest of personal safety. I will continue The Songstress Tour alone,” Baker tweeted on Tuesday (June 13).

Babyface addressed the controversy in a statement via Twitter, writing: “I am saddened by the news that Anita Baker has decided to remove me from ‘The Songstress Tour.’ It’s unfortunate and disheartening to see how things have played out via social media. While I was looking forward to the rest of the dates, I have nothing but love & respect for Anita and I wish her the best for the remainder of her tour.”
