Lazer Dim 700 has successfully matched Nardwuar‘s energy by gifting the veteran music journalist a well-researched and thoughtful present.

Earlier this month, two linked up at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Illinois for an interview that was published on Saturday (June 22). As expected, the rising star was asked questions and handed artifacts that spoke to his past; the chat, however, took a wholesome turn when he in turn presented the Human Serviette with an unnamed book.

“This is incredible,” the Canadian reporter said, before spotting photographs of his late mother while flipping the pages. “Like, I think there’s a photo of my mom— that’s my mom! That’s my mom. Thank you so much, Lazer Dim.

“It’s great to see my mom, who has passed away, again. Thank you! She’d be so stoked to be in the middle of the interview, so there she is.”

During the same festival last year, Nardwuar reunited with Lil Uzi Vert five years after their viral interview.

“You could just come to my house and have dinner. I’ll give you my number, and then I can teach you how to play Call Of Duty,” the Philly native told the Evaporators vocalist, following which they fled the scene in a manner reminiscent to the last time they both met.

Back in 2018, Uzi ran away from the interviewer for knowing “too much” about them.

When the legendary journalist presented the “Top” rapper with a Rob Zombie poster, the latter responded: “I’m glad I’m a good guy, because if I was under investigation for something, I’d be scared right now.”

Soon after, when the Vancouver native brought up someone named Guns Garcia, Uzi looked shocked and decided to run away.

Nardwuar eventually caught up with the superstar, who had a getaway car ready to exit the scene. Despite the abrupt end, the two still capped off the chat together with the 55-year-old’s trademark catchphrase: “Doot doola doot doot, doot doot.”
