Layzie Bone Admits ‘Insecurities’ Led To Extensive Dental Work – See The Before & After

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony OG Layzie Bone has undergone quite the transformation. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (April 28), the seasoned MC showed off his recently upgraded pearly whites, the result of some extensive dental work. In the first photo, Layzie Bone reveals what had been making him less inclined to smile over the years. The second slide shows a video of himself sitting in the dentist’s chair as he’s handed a mirror to inspect his new teeth for the first time.

Noticeably moved by what he sees, Layzie breaks into a big smile as the dental team cheers in the background. He wrote in the caption, “I went from this smile and having a ton of insecurities which none of you onlookers would have never knew about me. I am learning to love myself more than I ever have. To take care of myself better than I ever have. My fight has always been for equality amongst my peers and humankind in general.

“I am humbled and feel extremely blessed to share this moment. Thank you @clearchoicedental thank everybody that has supported me and what I stand for. Now keep the camera rolling because this half of my life is a movie that I intend on getting the Oscar for. say Cheeze Burna.”

It’s no secret teeth can have a profound impact on a person’s self-esteem depending on their condition. In 2018, Juelz Santana was dragged from Harlem to Los Angeles when it appeared he was missing multiple teeth in Dipset’s “Sauce Boyz” video.

50 Cent claimed his sparse grill was due to drug use, writing on Instagram at the time, “Damn it Mmaaannn just say no to drugs. This is going to far now, no teeth Jesus Christ Positive vibes.”

But Santana quickly took action and debuted what looked like dentures in an Instagram post not long after the social media massacre. In August 2020, he checked in with his Brooklyn dentist, Dr. Daniel Rubinshteinright, right after getting out of jail.

“He’s back!” Rubinshtein said as the camera zoomed in on Santana’s t-shirt. “Welcome home.”

    1. All you new rappers should be giving BTNH features since they took and ran with they’re whole style and you got their DNA in your raps.

      1. Nah. They always sucked. Stuttering mumbling dorks. Rhyming the same word and shit. Fucking welfare anthems. SMH. Those guys can’t rap. Period.

        1. Stop it man, if you know rap then you know Krayzie and Bizzy are some of the best to do it period. You may didn’t like their past subject matter or style but to say that can’t rap that’s straight trolling

          1. Don’t fuck up Krayzies legacy comparing him and Bizzy like that. Krayzie Bone is one of the GOATS, but won’t get his flowers until he passes sadly. Bizzy Bone wasn’t saying shit, but he could flow to the beat better than Lay and Wish so people settled.

            1. Bizzy and Kray are goats. Bizzy has more dynamic flows so not sure which albums you’ve been listening to.

    2. I commend Layzie for going and doing something about his teeth. Having messed up teeth can have a serious impact on a persons mental well being. I bet he’s feeling like a million bucks right now

    3. burna been a millionaire since the 90s had plenty of 50K chains could been handled that but glad he happy

    4. Krayzie Bone Leaves of Legend album is his best solo since 99. Good flows, laid back harmonies, very high level production. Hopefully Kray keeps dropping joints like Leaves of
Legend album. Best solo production kray has had and the features uplift the joint instead of bringing it down like some Bone solo’s. Rap album of the year so far Imo.

      1. Gtfoh! Lol I’m a Krayzie fan too but this album was gimmicky af for Kray, maybe 1-2 good songs at most but pretty forgettable.. he’s had Gemini GvsE was way better than this crap.. he took a step back with this one imo

        1. Gemini Good vs Evil was good. Let’s live might be my favorite Kray song ever, but notice the style he used on Let’s live, that laid back harmony sing song rap, he used that all through leaves of legend. Good vs evil had some gems but also had some outdated sounding production. That’s that Bone was great lyrically but productions sounded like a left over from
art of war. Leaves of Legend has very high quality level production and the features were on point with good chemistry. I know some Bone fans would rather hear them rapping fast, talking about murder, guns, violence but Kray is older, wiser, richer and that drama violence music is played out. Also that over religious tone is depressing that’s why CTD was depressing and had little replay value. Leaves of legend is fresh, motivating

    5. Dope to see, I would rather see a story like this vs some negative b.s. Glad to see a legend happy and doing and getting what he wants.

      1. Would you rather be washed up with money or not washed up and broke? Getting this done to your mouth you gotta have some good money
