Latto‘s team has expanded to now include Teyana Taylor, who will serve as the 777 rapper’s creative director.

In an Instagram post on Monday (April 24), Teyana revealed that she kicked off their partnership four shows ago – including Latto’s 2023 Coachella performance.

“The Aunties are not just regular creative directors, we’re cool creative directors,” Teyana wrote alongside a BTS video at Coachella. “I am truly a proud AUNTEYYYYYYYYYYYYY @latto777 you did ya big one both weekends. Im so proud of your growth, willingness to be a student to better your craft and your dedication! I’m so excited for the journey ahead with you as your CD. 4 shows down together and a lot more to goooooooo! Let’s goooooo!”

She continued: “Super proud of the whole team for making both weekends of Coachella magical, love y’all!! Squad credits coming next post! #coachella #lattochella #theauntiesproduction”

Latto premiered her new single “Put It On Da Floor” at the festival, which fans think includes a slight at Nicki Minaj in the lyrics.

“Bitches acting like they running shit, they really ran through” and “She thought I would kiss her ass, she mustn’t have took her meds.”

At the end of the track, Latto had more words for her unnamed rival, rapping: “Say she got a problem, imaginary smoke/ Bitch, you said it’s up, then put on the floor.”

She then concluded: “Pussy ho… Let a bitch know, we tired of the subtweets this year.”

Latto and the Pinkprint rapper engaged in a vitriolic Twitter spat last year, which stemmed from the latter’s frustration that “Super Freaky Girl” was deemed a pop — rather than a rap — song by the Grammys, but Latto’s “Big Energy” wasn’t.

“I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY, If [‘Super Freaky Girl’] has [2 billion views] moved out RAP then so does Big Energy,” Nicki tweeted, referring to the Atlanta rap rookie’s multi-platinum single.

Latto ultimately responded by tweeting: “Damn I can’t win for losing… all these awards/noms I can’t even celebrate,” which led to the two taking personal shots at each other.

While Nicki hasn’t responded, Coi Leray certainly did after she took Latto mentioning her on the song as a diss.

Coi fired off a series of tweets early Friday morning (April 21) calling out Big Latto for referencing her slender frame on her latest record, which dropped at midnight.

“Smoking on that gas blunt big as Coi Leray/ Bitches like to run they mouth, but I’m the type to run a fade,” Latto spits on the menacing, speaker-rattling track.

“Latto bye [sleeping face emoji] here you go taking about my body,” Coi’s Twitter tirade began. “Please do not come on here and talk about nobody BODY. Lol like seriously . Out of all things . Lmaooo ya blunt my size ? Lmaooo this shit is never ending.

“These bitches wanna be like the n-ggas so bad. Y’all wanna have rap beef SOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD [crying face emojis] … LITTLE MISS PRESSURE.”

The following day, Coi walked her statements back a bit – admitting she may have overreacted but still doubling down on not wanting her name mentioned. The girls buried the hatchet a short time later, however.

During her performance at Coachella on Sunday (April 23), Latto clarified she had no hard feelings toward Coi and showed love to her figure.

“Aye, Coi. By the way, I love yo body, baby,” she said on stage while performing “Put It On Da Floor.”

Coi caught wind of Latto’s comments and responded with a 100 emoji, before tweeting: “It was the diss record with my name on it that confused me. Much love to Latto! Appreciate the compliment.”
