Coi Leray has retracted her remarks about Latto after criticizing the Atlanta rapper’s last track, “Put It On Da Floor,” and accusing her of body-shaming.
On Saturday (April 22), the “Players” rapper took to Twitter to clarify her comments about Latto. Although she admitted she may have “overreacted,” Coi Leray noted she isn’t a fan of being name-dropped.

“Maybe I over reacted idk. End of the day. Don’t say my name for clicks and likes. Specially if we don’t speak or communicate. I’m not a big blunt small blunt,” she tweeted. “Don’t compare me to nada. Mention bitches you actually beef with. Put it on the floor but leave me out of the bs.”
In a separate tweet, Coi added that there are a lot of things that “go on behind the scenes” and that non-industry folks may not understand. However, the rapper made it clear her only worries were about “icon shit.”
The ordeal between the two stars started on Friday (April 21) after Coi fired off a series of tweets calling out Big Latto for referencing her slender frame on her latest record, which dropped the same day.
“Smoking on that gas blunt big as Coi Leray/ Bitches like to run they mouth, but I’m the type to run a fade,” Latto spits on “Put It On Da Floor.”

“These bitches wanna be like the n-ggas so bad. Y’all wanna have rap beef SOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD [crying face emojis] … LITTLE MISS PRESSURE.”
Leray, who has spoken out against body-shaming in the past, then claimed Latto is merely jealous of her figure while telling her and others to keep her name out of their mouths.
“Anybody that talk about my body wants MY BODY!!!!!!!!!!!! Like real badddddd,” she continued. “If you don’t like me , support me or fwm don’t mention my name. Period. Shit don’t make sense.
