Taking to Instagram after the verdict, Leshurr expressed her gratitude to have the moment behind her, but said that her career has been irreparably damaged regardless.

“For the past year I’ve been battling a court case from people that accused me of stalking, harassing, and biting them but I was the victim,” she began. “I was attacked and bitten by a dog and made out to be the aggressor. For a whole year people have deserted me, dropped me from deals, and didn’t want to work with me anymore. For a whole year I have had no income.”

She continued: “Today has been judgement day. I’m shaking whilst I write this. My brand/career has been ruined regardless no matter the outcome, but at least I have a clean record and can FINALLY get on with my life. #JUSTICEISSERVED #NOTGUILTY #CARMENSSPIRIT #GODISGREAT”

The rapper (real name Melesha O’Garro) and a friend were previously accused of waiting outside her ex’s house before attacking her and her partner in October 2022.

The report stated that Leshurr bit her ex’s girlfriend on the hand after she stopped in her car, then went on to attack her ex when she ran out of the house to intervene.

The latter reportedly “suffered a number of injuries.” Leshurr denied the bite, but alleged she was “punched in the head and stamped on” by her ex’s partner.

The prosecutor claimed the defendants lied in the police interviews, and that their account did not explain the complainants’ injuries – but luckily, Lady Leshurr prevailed.
