Everyone’s favorite rapper, Kool G Rap , has found himself a new home
with Back Route Records out of Stockton,
California. He is also preparing to release his debut on the label, Uncontrolled Substance .
G Rap gives all the praise to Jamez “Jamez Bomb” Rosado,
CEO of the label, as being a huge factor in his decision. Saying, ” I
first linked up with my dude Jamez through doing a feature with one of
the artist signed to his label named Okwerdz,..My man Domingo also spoke
highly of how Jamez handles business. That’s basically how we connected to lay
down this street album. Uncontrolled Substance is definitely gonna be a
banger.”

Route Records has other big announcements on the table, such as a new mix tape
entitled, Sneak Attack with DJ Green Lantern and artists like Tech
N9ne, Too Short and Goldie of Federation as well.
Okwerdz, who is credited with getting G Rap to come to Back
Route will be realeasing his own project, Off Season featuring Sean
Price, Casual and Juelz Santana with a few others. Production
on the album sees, Needlz and Rockwilder helping out on
production.
Meanwhile, Kool G Rap’s Uncontrolled Substance will be out later
this year. Back Route has also made Sneak Attack available on their
