Kodak Black has agreed with Donald Trump’s brutal comments about Rihanna‘s performance at the Super Bowl.
The former president took to Truth Social — the social media platform he launched in 2021 — on Sunday (February 12) to blast RiRi’s halftime show during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Trump called it the “worst” Super Bowl performance of all time and called out Rihanna for “foul and insulting language.”
“EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history,” he wrote. “This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language. Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!'”
Kodak Black, who was in attendance at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to watch the game, later echoed Trump’s scathing sentiment while filming himself watching Rihanna’s performance from the stands.
“Uncle Trump said that shit is garbage, man,” he said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories.
Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII performance saw her run through a medley of hits, including “Work,” “Umbrella” and “Diamonds,” as well as Kanye West‘s “All of the Lights” and JAY-Z‘s “Run this Town.”
She also showed off what appeared to be a growing baby bump behind her all-red outfit, with a rep for the singer later confirming that she is indeed pregnant with baby number two. RiRi and boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child together in May 2022.
Days before her Super Bowl performance, Donald Trump attacked Rihanna on Truth Social, writing: “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!”
Last week, Trump’s former White House doctor, Ronny Jackson, also called on the NFL to remove Rihanna from the Super Bowl halftime show for spray painting “fuck Donald Trump” at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas in 2020.
“She’s made a career of spewing degenerate filth while badmouthing America every chance she gets,” Jackson said. “Why is the NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna SHOULD NOT be the halftime performer!!”
Rihanna previously requested that Donald Trump stop playing her music at his “tragic” rallies and later called him “the most mentally ill human being in America” during a Vogue interview.
Kodak Black, meanwhile, has been heavily supportive of Donald Trump since he pardoned him in January 2021. At the time, the Florida rapper was in the middle of a 46-month sentence stemming from a 2019 federal weapons conviction.
“We need Trump in office forever, man,” Kodak said in January 2022. “Just like how them Chinese and Russian and Korean muthafuckas they have their president. Trump the best thing for America — ya heard me — for sure. I respect that boy logic, setup and whole rundown even if he didn’t free me.”
He continued: “When you got muthafuckin’ office for only like four years, that ain’t enough time for a n-gga to run they play and the shit they got to do. By the time they get done, another muthafucka in office and he fuck shit up. Man, give my dog a lil more time to do what he do for real.”
