Killer Mike Says A Collaborative LP With Immortal Technique Is “Going To Happen”

Killer Mike is no stranger to collaboration, recently linking with El-P to record the full-length album R.A.P. Music. During an interview with The Well Versed and 2DB, Mike Bigga expressed interest in recording a full-length album with Tech N9ne, explaining that they’ve already worked together but would like to stretch it out to a longer format.

“I think that Tech and I recording an album together is comparable to honestly an [Ice] Cube and a Chuck [D] getting together. I think it’s going to happen,” he said, turning his sights to Brother Ali. “I love Brother Ali. We’ve all been on a record together, thanks to Tech, but I love Brother Ali. We go back and forth on Twitter, he’s amazing. He has the sould of a blues [artist].”

Mike also touched on the handful of projects in the works, including two albums and a solo EP. “Outside of that, The Elegant Elephant is coming, Plegde 4 is coming, and some type of EP just solo from me.”

UPDATE: Killer Mike has contacted HipHopDX to clarify that he meant to say Immortal Technique instead of Tech N9ne during his interview.

    1. meh… would rather see tech do a collab album with someone else, like Royce, Em, Yela, or Three 6 if they were still making music.

      1. So it’ll be a weird collab because they have different flows? I guess that’s why Em & Jay-Z – Renegade didn’t work… Idiot!

      2. Actually a Immortal Technique and Tech N9ne collab could work. Immortal Tech was slightly off beat back then but with each album his flow got better, just listen to rich mans world he stepped up his flow.

    2. I would really love a Killer Mike, Saigon, Reks & Jon Connor to make a super group all on their political shit and can all destroy a mic. No disrespect to Immortal Technique of course

    3. If this album happens, I’ll get that motherfucker the day it comes out. Two of the best policital rappers out there, when you put them together, you can’t go wrong. Get El-P to produce it and you got a classic.

    4. I think this will turn out to be a dope LP, their both similar yet so different but they both get live on mic I’ll copp the first day.

    5. who? and who? deze no name niggas will flop lo. dey are unknown cuz deir muzik suck. Lil Wayne and Drake are mo popular and sellin more records. no wonder cuz dey da best rappers. swag

      1. Most of us know that and ignore him, but he keeps posting because there’s always one or two gullable mofos that come along and take the bait.

    6. Get the right producers for this shit and it will be classic. Tech said he was making two EP’s with two underground legends, i wonder who the next one will be.
