After critical success behind 2007’s The Offering, Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and former Sunz of Man, Four Hoursemen and Black Market Militia member Killah Priest is releasing Behind The Stained Glass this year, his second release with Philadelphia’s Good Hands Records.
“Behind The Stained Glass is more of me tapping into the inner priesthood side I think people need to hear more of,” said Priest. This will be the Brooklyn emcee’s seventh solo, beginning with his acclaimed 1998, impressive charting debut Heavy Mental.
DJ Truth, CEO of Good Hands added, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to work with Killah Priest. It’s great to work with an artist whose main goal is to feed his fans great music on a regular basis.” Good Hands will be joined by Priest‘s Proverbs Records in the release. No word as of yet to collaborations or production. The Offering featured contributions from Nas, Immortal Technique and Sam Sneed.
Good Hands has previously released projects from Reef The Lost Cauze, Camp Lo and Tangled Thoughts. The label said that they are planning several surprising releases for 2008.
