Kid Cudi is set to testify later this week in Diddy‘s sex trafficking trial.
According to court documents, two more witnesses are set to testify before Cudi, who should take to the stand on Friday.
Cudi’s relationship with Cassie has been a recurring theme throughout the first two weeks of Diddy’s highly publicized trial.
Cudi and Cassie briefly dated in 2011 behind Diddy’s back.

During her own testimony, Cassie claims the relationship began when her and Diddy were “not in the greatest place”.
She testified that Diddy discovered her relationship with the “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper during a freak off session after he went through her phone and found emails that she had sent to a member of his staff.
Cassie then described Diddy’s alleged reaction to discovering the affair, claiming that the record executive put a corkscrew between his knuckles and “lunged” at her.
She claimed that he became “super angry” and “his eyes blacked out”.

Cassie then alleged that she fled from the hotel where the freak off was taking place and called Cudi on a burner phone to pick her up, which the rapper did.
Her testimony continuing, Cassie said she went back to Diddy’s house later that day in an attempt to resolve the issue.
During the confrontation, Cassie claimed Diddy said “he was going to hurt Scott and [me].”
In her initial lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, Cassie referenced the incident with the corkscrew and claimed that he was “going to blow up Kid Cudi’s car.”

She then said in court: “Sean wanted Scott’s friends to see Scott’s car get blown up.”
A representative for Cudi confirmed that his car had in fact been blown up but did not directly point the finger at Diddy.
Diddy’s legal team addressed the allegation last year, commenting: “It’s clear the government doesn’t know who set fire to the vehicle or how it relates to Mr. Combs, who denies any involvement.”
Cassie’s testimony has also included details about Diddy becoming jealous when he suspected the singer of having an affair with actor Michael B. Jordan in 2016. It is not known if Jordan will be called to testify.
