Kid Cudi has some new ink to show off, and he gleefully did with the help of an infamous artist in the greater Los Angeles area.

The “Day ‘N’ Nite” rapper took to Instagram on Friday (March 1) to show off the new ink by Dr Woo. The tattoo, which appears to go all around his head, is a crown of flowers that extends from temple to temple.

Counting several well known figures among his clientele, Dr. Woo has become known for his ability to blend intricate art and tattoos. He’s specifically sought out for a unique single needle style, which he has mastered.

Cudi also tagged photographer Pamela Littky in the post, indicating that she likely captured the shots he used to debut the new art.

Despite having dropped two projects already this year, Kid Cudi has promised fans that another new album will be coming soon, revealing that he’s putting the final touches on the upcoming bangers.

The rapper/actor made the revelation on X, formerly known as Twitter, on February 23). He also shared what he planned to do about releasing the new songs.

Cudi’s announcement was met with mixed reactions, with one fan replying: “To remove sadness from your work entirely is like painting in black and white without any black paint. Can’t have happy without some sad.”

Another said: “Everyone respects the growth but the ‘sad’ songs arent to keep us down when we’re listening. Its some of the most inspirationally accurate music I enjoy listening to.”

Others were more supportive, with one fan writing: “Happy for you man. You saved my life with a lot of your music back in the day, but I’m glad to know you’re in a better place now. Most people call your old songs sad, but they were always more motivational and comforting to me than sad.”
