Kid Cudi Calls “Speedin’ Bullet To Heaven” “Alternative”

The reviews behind Kid Cudi’s latest album have been mixed and many in the Hip Hop world have given their opinion about it.

The Cleveland native himself recently took to Twitter to respond to the critics and says Speedin’ Bullet To Heaven is an alternative album.

“SBTH is ALTERNATIVE,” he tweeted, “not HIP-HOP/RAP like somone FORCEFULLY labeled it.” He then continued in a separate tweet: “Even though I made sure to let the world know early on the direction I was headed in, it can still be misleading seeing it labeled wrong.”

He also took a jab at those demanding a more commercial Cudi.

“To some of you I’m sorry but I’m not these n****s on the radio u love so much,” he proclaimed. View all related tweets below:

    1. Man on the moon 1 and 2 and Indicud was fire.

All the other shit with the exception of 2 songs was straight up garbage my nigga. No disrespect, but you fell off.

    2. Alternative? File that shit under “Hot Garbage” because he sounds like a llama giving birth! Somebody in his camp is gassing him up instead of being honest with him. He used Hip Hop to make a name for himself and then immediately went way left field with it. Couldn’t even get through two records before I was like “UNSUBSCRIBE” lmfao! FOH with that off-key moaning bs

    3. Respect him for making music that he wants but this is point blank painful to listen to. And this is coming from a Cudi fan. I listen to a ton of alternative rock and alternative and traditional hip hop. Bad is bad even if you have a diverse musical palette.

    4. Haven’t heard it but I listened to some singles off of it before and my expectations were low. When I heard indicud his music just wasn’t the same kid cudi just made his own version of yeezus

    5. I have loved every album cudi made from Rap hard to Sattelite Flight only two I didn’t like is this shit and Wzrd.

      Cudi stick with hiphop
