Kendrick Lamar Drops New Album ‘GNX’ By Surprise

Kendrick Lamar has dropped his new album GNX without notice.

The surprise project, Kendrick’s sixth studio effort and first not to be released on Top Dawg Entertainment, clocks in at 12 songs and includes the previously teased “squabble up,” which was previewed at the beginning of his “Not Like Us” music video.

Guest appearances come from SZA, Sam Dew, Dody6, AzChike, Siete and Wallie the Sensei, Hitta J3, Peysoh, Young Threat, Lefty Gunplay, Ink and Deyra Barrera, while production is handled by the likes of Mustard, Sounwave, DJ Dahi, Terrace Martin, Jack Antonoff and Kamasi Washington, as well as Kendrick himself.

GNX, whose title nods to the Buick Grand National Experimental car, arrives on the heels of Kendrick’s high-profile feud with Drake, which saw his stock rise even higher thanks to the success of his chart-topping, Grammy-nominated diss track “Not Like Us.”

The album’s release also comes just a few months before K. Dot will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show in New Orleans — an announcement that ruffled the feathers of Lil Wayne’s fans and friends (and even Weezy himself).

Stream GNX below and check out the full tracklist and credits after the jump.

      1. Go get some dick and calm the fuck down. Drake is not going to fuck you. You really belong in prison because you’re so hostile, gay, and sexually frustrated.

      2. sad about your boyfriend BENDERICK HUH running to defend his F8GGOT ASS 🤮🤮🤮on here every day. SO FUCKING WHAT HOMO GONNA MAKE U COCKSUCKERS CRY 4 REAL ANY DAY NOW WHEN BENDERICK DOME BUST ALL OVER CRENSHAW 💥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    1. If kendrick wasn’t already about to go down thanks to his diddy association, drake would have bodied his ass for real. It’s a no fly zone from Canada for a reason. Kendrick already sold less than drake’s recent albums and this will flop too.

      1. Kendricks been sighted with diddy many times. He’s only accusing drake at the same time that diddy’s empire came crumbling down

      2. Drake’s a well known Diddy friend and took 14 year old girls on multiple dates. Least Kendrick married an adult and even cheated with an adult. Drake’s a closet gay and like Diddy, terrorizes underage girls because they hate women. Yeah, that’s your goat.

      3. Drake didn’t do any of that shit. Kendricks been known to have sex with young boys and girls. Meanwhile, Dave knocked up whitney and kendrick is raising his child but he won’t removed Dave because he’s a spineless bitch.

      4. Bro thats easily the most narrow minded comment ive ever seen. Im no even a kendrick fan but you sound like a fucking dumbass. Theres multiple things that Drake has done that could say he is a pedo. Not kendrick Drake doesn’t like you kid, get his dick out your mouth.

    2. BENDRICK MIGHT BE THE BETTER RAPPER BUT DRIZZYS GOT THE BEST BOOTY IN THE GAME! I’D LICK THAT BUTTHOLE DRY IF HE LET ME AND NONE OF YOU COCKSUCKERS COULD STOP ME !!!

    3. no matter how mediocre white jack offs 🤮they want to get to produce this F8GGOT ASS traitor to all of us this worthless cocksucker🤔 everything BENDERICK is DEAD ON ARRIVAL💥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 little guy always been trash🗑️always will be trash🚮

      1. Gregs having a mental meltdown. Grab a straight jacket. Dude’s going to slit his wrists or shoot up a Walmart 🤣😭🤣😭😭😭😭

    4. Says a lot how dr dre quickly dropped kendrick’s ass from aftermath after he dissed drake. Dre don’t want to face drake’s wrath since he knows he’s yet to get a no.1 album while drake has almost a dozen no.1 albums

      1. Shut yo clown ass up, his deal was up and he made a better situation, all he got now is a licensing deal which means he answers to no one, your worker ass will always be a worker, you can’t understand boss moves smh

      2. The tde deal ended. His deal for aftermath was still on until kendrick talked shit about drake. Dre don’t want to piss off drake

      3. By the way, interscope still owns kendrick’s latest masters. Drake owns his own shit with republic being paid a license fee only to distribute.

      4. Interscope is listed as a copyright holder. Drake’s company owns his own masters and we’re only licensed to republic

      5. i dont know where you’re seeing that, but all I see listed in multiple places is that pg lang is the copyright holder. so unless interscope is a silent partner in his company, he owns the masters himself

    5. The heart pt 6 is the only one sounding decent. Kendrick has become such an overly annoying, obnoxious, ratchet sounding rapper… and he used to be one of the very dope sounding, non obnoxious, not annoying rappers. Terrible.

      1. I know. I was trying to figure out if I got a fake copy. I liked Dodger Blue and Luther for the nostalgic sample of Luther Vandross, but that Mustard shit wack as hell, and that’s most of the album. Also, it’s annoying with all of this clout chasing dissing for promo of the industry you’ve been in 15 years like you seperate from the rest of these dudes. He also could have saved that redo of that Pac song. Blasphemous.

    6. FUCK BENDERICK LAMERS THE HOMO RAP HERO EVERY COCKSUCKERS FAVORITE EVERY LA F8GGOTS INSPIRATION 💥KEEP SLURPING THAT BUM SAUCE F8GGOTS NO STREETS NOWHERE RESPECT THE THIS SELLOUT F8GGOT LAMER🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮trash rap for trash period🚮COCKSUCKER DIE💥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    7. synth once again a mainstay because it is consistant with earlier music i think i really need to hear the whole thing however i stream off apple music nowadays i can’t access apple itunes for some reason i got money just prefer buying downloading owning you know how that goes…………………….

    8. Wish there were more tracks this his best since sec80 the Tupac flow on reincarnated with the sample just what I needed tonight

    10. Easily his worst album to date. Mainly because he raps in the exact same Not Like Us cadence the entire album. To have the success and vitality of one of the biggest mainstream songs this year, and to drop an “album” this weak, is pathetic and corny. There’s no scintilla of a doubt his music is deeper and more fundamentally relevant than Drake. But releasing this bs randomly backfired. You can easily tell he’s gotten rich, thusly lazy, & feeling himself to a wacknes. This is worse than Chromakopia. & that project was maggot food.

      1. So this and chromokopia were trash? Either you’re mentally challenged or a hater. Out of curiosity, who’s your favorite rapper? Enlighten us since you know so much.

    11. Its not a bad album but not a great one, I’d say 3 out of 5. I agree with some posters he does some a tad pretentious. I hope leaving TDE doesn’t take away that original Kendrick sound but I fear he will go down the Indie route and cater for the moshers and goths. Meh what do I know.

    13. Ran it back a couple of times. As usual, Kendrick’s fans hyping the fuck out of some mid ass shit he dropped. I swear his fan base is the same as Eminem’s. I don’t get it.

    14. Overrated. Kendrick mumbles in half asleep over mid pop-rap beats. If you want quality hip-hop you should listen to the new Casual EP.
