Kendrick Lamar Discusses Dr. Dre, Tupac & Rapsody

Kendrick Lamar did a 60-second interview with Vevo to answer some questions.

The Compton, California rapper is greatly influenced by Tupac and says the track that he would have had a verse on with his idol is “Ambitionz Az A Ridah.”

When asked to pick between Dr. Dre and Eminem, Lamar says it’s a tough decision, but chooses his mentor, Dr. Dre.

The new song he’s most excited to perform for audiences is “Wesley’s Theory,” the intro track on his sophomore album, To Pimp A Butterfly.

His favorite Rapsody song is “Drama.” He featured the first lady of Jamla on To Pimp a Butterfly.
