Kendrick Lamar Adds Dates To Headlining Tour

    Kendrick Lamar has teamed up with BET Networks’ Music Matters for a 23-city tour.

    The tour, which begins this fall in Norfolk, Virginia on September 7, is in support of Lamar’s upcoming debut studio album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, which hits stores on October 2.

    “More than a Hip Hop show, it’s an experience worth a life time,” says K. Dot about the upcoming tour.

    “Kendrick is one the most prolific and phenomenal artist emerging today. His music, style and flow brings a fresh and important perspective to Hip Hop and we are proud to leverage the BET Music Matters brand to expose his amazing talents to the masses,” explained Kelly Griffin, BET Senior Director Music Programming.

      2. You’re right, he did, but his onstage performance/presence was wack. Dude left the stage and let that wack old school nigga from No Limit perform. That was horrible…Schoolboy Q did gave a much better concert at Warehouse Live.

    2. ‘Section 80’ was the best album of 2010, and his new album will most likely out-shine everything else this year, so go and buy it you guys. I wonder if Kendrick listens to Black Hippy, he should definitely collab with those guys. Another dope collab would be with Frank’s Ocean, that guy can seriously sing his ass off. Can’t wait to see Kendrick in my hometown

    3. Kendrick Lamar has a huge fan base over in Canada so I’m surprised that he has not added more Canadian cities to his schedule. I would highly recommend for him to add Vancouver and Montreal to his tour.
