Kanye West has been announced as the closing night performance of the upcoming Call of Duty XP event, taking place on September 2nd and 3rd at the Call of Duty compound in Playa Vista.
‘Ye will perform at 8 p.m. on the second day of the event, which includes the “world premiere of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, the first public hands-on with the title, the finals of the Call of Duty $1 Million tournament sponsored by Xbox 360, Call of Duty-inspired live action-experiences and much more.”
“We’re pulling out all the stops,” said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing. “We promised our attendees and fans around the world a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the first Call of Duty XP, so we’re thrilled to have Kanye on board.”
I can’t imagine Kanye West with a controller in his hand. I guess it’s just me.
I’m a big Kanye fan and I think I have to agree…even if Kanye was a gamer, I have no idea what time of video games he could possibly be interested in…he doesn’t seem like a sports gamer, or a shooter fanatic…can’t picture him playing God of War or Uncharted either…

really? I could see him and pharell playing video games. They are both big fans on Japan (which is known for its gaming culture). Kanye would probably play some old school games (pacman space invader). Im on call of duty black ops add me: KAZAKAGE1. (ps3)
