It looks like Kanye West woke up with his blood boiling on Sunday (March 13) as he ripped into comedian D.L. Hughley in a series of Instagram posts.
The Yeezy mogul was likely upset by a recent interview Hughley did with VladTV in which he criticized Ye over they way he’s handling his divorce from Kim Kardashian and her new relationship with Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson. He also suggested had Kanye not been rich and famous when they met, he wouldn’t have been able to get a woman like Kardashian to fall in love with him.
Sharing an old clip of Hughley’s stand-up routine, Kanye ripped into the 59-year-old and claimed he’s nothing but a drug addict.
“We gone stop letting practicing drug addicts be used by leftist to Willie Lynch our Future,” he wrote in the caption. “Black people with our own opinion are not allowed to speak in public. I am the glitch. DL God does not like you. You have no favor. Your family hates you. I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous. Now you just known as a broke pawn. at least Oprah got billions ‘allegedly.'”
Kanye West then invited any of D.L. Hughley’s relatives to call Chris McClean at adidas for some Yeezys, although he noted they’d have to pay for them.
“Come on leftist,” he continued. “Y’all gotta do better than this. DL Ye Bring the real smoke baby. Show your real face Charlemagne just don’t hit the same do he. Who y’all gone get now God is with us and you send DL to be against us. You’ve lost. No brilliant Hebrew’s will bow to y’all no more Only dumb ass drug addict House n-ggas.”
He added, “Don’t play me and don’t play with God Anybody related to DL call Chris McLean at adidas for yeezys. They not free though. We running a business over here. He just getting ran. Ye’s follow-up post was a simple screenshot of a Google search on Hughley, which appeared to give Ye some satisfaction. “Wuuuuuut???” he wrote in the caption. “DL lives in Calabasas???????? Yoooooo God is good.”
Kanye’s verbal tirade appeared to begin after he discovered his 8-year-old daughter North was on TikTok again, a previous point of contention for the divorced couple.
“I told y’all before about this TikTok stuff,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of the video. “Now my 8 year old on here singing she fell in love with an emo girl. Leftist don’t want fathers to have no say in our children’s lives. I don’t want my kids at godless Sierra Canyon school. I got a voice and I’m not having this. And Perez Hilton, you still ain’t answer my question.
