Kanye West Slammed For Hiding Nazi Symbolism In New Yeezy Clothing Collection

Kanye West has been heavily criticized for including hidden Nazi symbols in his latest line of Yeezy clothing.

The rapper and fashion designer launched the range of clothing on Thursday (December 26) and it includes a variety of T-shirts, hoodies and jackets, among other items — all available for $20 each.

The clothes feature various logos including one which resembles the Wolfsangel, a symbol closely associated with Nazi Germany as it was worn by various SS (Schutzstaffel) units during the Second World War.

Today, the symbol is associated with neo-Nazis and is used by the Aryan Nations white supremacist gang as their logo.

The move sparked backlash on social media, with one user writing: “Nazi symbols again I’m so fucking done.”

Another said: “This the most blatant Nazi shit Yeezy has ever released and y’all are choosing to not see it!”

Even the Kanye fan account @yedefender took issue with the clothing, writing on Instagram: “deactivating this page or gonna give it a new admin I’m done. KANYE IS USING YALL TO TO REPRESENT HIS NAZI BELIEFS.”

Neither Kanye nor Yeezy have yet to offer any comment on the use of the symbol.

Kanye West has a history of incorporating Nazism into his wardrobe.

Earlier this year, he raised eyebrows by wearing a shirt featuring an image of Varg Vikernes of the Norwegian death-metal band Burzum.

Vikernes is a noted neo-Nazi and in 2014 was found guilty of “inciting racial hatred” by sympathizing with Anders Behring Breivik’s neo-Nazi terrorist attacks, which he claimed were part of a “Jewish conspiracy.”

Ye has also gone on record in recent years about his love for Adolf Hitler, reportedly professing his admiration of the notorious Nazi leader during his ill-fated visit to TMZ in 2018.

“When came to TMZ, he said that stuff and they took it out of the interview,” former TMZ staffer Van Lathan said in 2022. “If you look at what I said, it goes from me saying like, ‘Hey Kanye, there’s real-life implications to [claiming that slavery was a choice].’

“What I say after that — if I can remember, it’s been a long time — was, ’12 million people actually died because of Nazism and Hitler and all of that stuff,’ and then I move on to talk about what he said about slavery.”

He continued: “The reason they took it out is because it wouldn’t have made sense unless they kept in Kanye saying he loved Hitler and the Nazis, which he said when he was at TMZ. He said something like, ‘I love Hitler, I love Nazis.’ Something to that effect.”
