Kanye West has announced his intention to sue his former dentist, Thomas Connelly for causing “life-altering” harm to the rapper.

Connelly was previously the subject of claims from Yeezy employee Milo Yiannopolous who accused the dentist of getting West addicted to nitrous oxide.

In a notice of intent sent to Connelly, West and his wife, Bianca Censori, accuse the dentist of malpractice.

West was a patient of Connelly’s throughout 2024 and underwent several procedures with him and also supplied the rapper with nitrous oxide gas.

He directly accuses Connelly of causing him “life-altering harm caused by malice, misappropriation, and malpractice.”

The letter states: “Evidence shows that during the time Ye was under your care, you engaged in numerous inappropriate and dangerous practices that were far outside the bounds of any legitimate medical purpose or standard of care.

“These actions were not isolated incidents but rather part of a pattern of improper conduct by you from 2024 through 2025 while Ye was your patient. Ms. Censori, as Ye’s spouse, was a witness to and impacted by many of these events (some of which took place at their shared residence).”

Connelly is also accused of encouraging West to administer the gas himself and still continued to supply him with the addictive substance after the rapper began to display neurological problems.

West’s legal team also claim to have messages of apology from Connelly.

The letter of intent also reveals that West was paying Connelly $50,000 per month to be his dentist.

There are also allegations that Connelly supplied West with the drug propofol in non-medical settings.

The letter states regarding the propofol incident: “As a result, in this instance, Ye suffered extreme mental and physical distress leading to urgent medical care. In another instance, evidence suggests additional improper usage of propofol or similar controlled substances when Ye had diminished capacity and was not aware of or capable of knowingly consent for the usage of this substance due.”

Propofol is an anaesthetic and was one of the drugs found in Michael Jackson’s system after his death in 2009.

Connelly has yet to respond to the letter and the claims contained within but did vehemently deny any wrongdoing when first accused by Yiannopoulos last year.
