Kanye West had a listening party to share his upcoming album, the rapper’s first since he made a series of public antisemitic and anti-Black Lives Matter comments.
On Sunday (October 1), the rapper, who now goes by Ye, hosted the party in a recording studio in Italy, according to the Sun. The tabloid reported that Ye “yelled and appeared out-of-sorts” while previewing the new LP.

“At times, Ye seemed to have fun, but at other points he looked completely out-of-whack while playing it,” they continued.
Ty Dolla Sign was at the event, and there appears to be a collaboration with him on the project, according to the Sun and social media posts from fan sites. Ye’s wife Bianca Sensori reportedly did not attend.

In October 2022, Ye tweeted that he was “going death con 3” [sic] on Jewish people. That began a string of public antisemitic statements from the star during interviews with Tucker Carlson, Drink Champs, and more. During this period, he also called the Black Lives Matter movement a “scam.”
West’s comments were celebrated by a neo-Nazi group, who hung a banner reading “Kanye is right about the Jews” over a Los Angeles highway.
Within weeks of his initial comments, reportssurfaced of Ye’s decades-long “obsession” with Adolph Hitler.
“He would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people,” one executive who worked with West told CNN.
