Kanye West goes “Black Bruce Wayne” on a newly surfaced leak from the early 2010s tentatively titled “Not The Same” — listen to it below.
The leak from circa 2011 resurfaced this week and went viral on social media after an eager buyer from the KanyeToThe fan forum reportedly purchased a snippet of “Not The Same” back in 2014 for $500 from another forum user who got their hands on it from an “industry insider.”

“I hear the girls scream soon as we arrivin’/ You can ask Ibn, we be straight mackin’/ Y’all work at IBM, hotels they be in/ Ooh la la, tres bien magnifique/ Any street, life before this is hard,” Kanye raps on the opening verse as he mixes French into his bars.

The origins of the track are still unclear but a Reddit deep-dive finds oral histories of “Not The Same” actually not being a Kanye West song.
Ye’s verse is allegedly from an L.E.P. Bogus Boys track, which was set to be part of the disbanded Chicago group’s shelved 2011 album.

While Genius doubts the Honorable C.N.O.T.E. alleged production, it cited a Mike Dean forum comment after he dissed the beat and insinuated it was real vocals over a “fake beat.”
“U think we would make something so bad production wise?? get real,” Dean wrote under a KanyeToThe thread.
Kanye West hasn’t been making many headlines as it pertains to his music as of late, but Conway The Machine revealed that Ye gifted him with an autographed alcoholics anonymous book after hearing his vulnerable “Stressed” track.
“That third verse, I talk about how I was on that bottle, I’m sipping, I’m getting nice everyday and shit. I’m just giving my perspective of what I’m dealing with with that,” Conway explained. “And he heard that shit and he didn’t say nothing. He just got up and walked out the room. He must’ve been feeling that shit.”

He continued: “N-gga came back and gave me an autographed Alcohol Anonymous book. Like, ‘Yeah, read that, dawg. I love that record. That shit, I felt that.’ We had a whole different conversation that I don’t want to share.”
