Kanye West Admits He Has ‘Copied’ Drake’s Music

Kanye West has confessed that there have been times in the past where he has copied from Drake.

Though the two have collaborated on songs such as “Glow” and “Forever”, they have largely spent the last few years exchanging shots and subliminals.

However, in a new livestream with Drake affiliate Top5, West copped to lifting flows from and being inspired by the 6 God.

He said: “The thing about Drake’s music is he ain’t got shit where he copies what I do. I’ll have copied a Drake flow a lot of times. I got shit that once Drake took over the algorithm was copies of Drake.”

Despite their often acrimonious relationship, West has been busy praising Drake of late, particularly over his controversial defamation lawsuit against UMG.

“Yo, I’m so happy right now, you don’t understand. With this UMG, Drake, Kendrick situation, Super Bowl, Grammys — this shit was driving me and you know where it should be driving me, but this is the biggest victory in music history right here,” he said in a video posted on X.

Ye then vowed to end his on-again, off-again beef with the Canadian superstar, saying: “I’m never finna call Drake out of his name. I’m team Drake, 100%. And team Kendrick and Team all of us! Kendrick needs to be going at UMG at this point.

“This is what I said in my version of ‘Like That,’” he added, referencing his remix of Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick’s hit song. “I said, ‘Lucian [Grainge, UMG CEO], your lifetime deal.’ Like, let’s stop aiming all this at each other. Bro, you have no idea.”

The Chicago native concluded by saying: “Everything is worth everything for a moment like this, where we stop going at each other and we go at the slave masters.”

He also posted a link to Drake’s recently amended lawsuit and wrote: “I have to show Drake love for going at the machine. This is a very important moment in music history. For some reason I felt like I was on Drakes side concerning this situation. Now here’s over 100 pages to show why.”

    1. Makes sense. Both of them have released nothing but trash album after trash album for well over a decade.

      1. Vultures 1 is great, 2 is good, Donda 2 is good and a work in progress. Donda is the best, Pablo is good, Jesus Is King is great, Ye is good. It’s clear your just a hater but fine spend all day glazing Kendrick.

      2. @Poxoa All of those albums you mentioned were dog shit. Only effeminate retards like you enjoyed them. And what about those Zionist ?

    2. The glazing is disgusting! Ye made Drake he wrote and produced him and Drake stole from Soulja Boy too.

      1. To be fair Drake has said even if Ye hates him that’s his biggest inspiration but he says Kanye so…..is that disrespect?

    3. Ye X Drake collab album on the way Wolves is back. Ye should only do it if Drake is not under UMG, Warner, or Sony. Best part would be hearing Ye on Boi1da beats again. Honestly free Tory add him to this.

    4. If you’re going to glaze Drake this much apologize to Boosie produce that man’s next album too unlike Drake he defended you when Cousins came out Ye. Apologize to Jim Jones too produce some stuff with him too. Unlike Drake they were on your side.

    5. Glaze Young Chop not Drake! We need a new Young Chop beat with Durk rapping on it and maybe NBA YoungBoy and Chief Keef. Ye do that you made Don’t Like amazing. YoungBoy on a Chop beat would be great and Chop just got out help the man. Drake can’t give you beats.

    6. Sick of this crazy, old man. Nothing he says is shocking anymore. He needs medical attention and some medication.
