According to Billboard, Kanye West’s highly anticipated third album, Graduation, is set to come out sometime in September. The album will feature Coldplay’s Chris Martin (who was featured on Jay-Z’s song “Beach Chair” off of Kingdom Come).
A snippet of Ye’s album has already be released, in the form of a small segment of the song “Cant Tell Me Nothing (Peep the snippet in Hip Hop DX’s audio section here).”
The song, created with the assistance of DJ Toomp, has West rhyming about his spendthrift nature: “I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven / When I woke I spent that
on a necklace / I told God I’d be back in a second / Man, it’s so hard
not to act reckless.”
Kanye will once again tap the services of producer/instrumentalist Jon Brion, who played a prominent role in Late Registration.
Ye’ll be making live performances this year beginning July 2nd in Manchester, England all the way through August 19th at U.K.’s V Festival.
