Kai Cenat has had the privilege of previewing an unreleased track by Lil Uzi Vert, and according to his assessment, it’s an absolute banger.

Per Cenat, the private listening party of sorts took place about three months ago during a FaceTime call with Uzi. Impressed by the unreleased track, the 22-year-old online streamer insisted it be sent his way.

“One time I was on the phone with Uzi,” he began, in a snippet of the stream captured by Our Generation Music. “He called me in the studio, he played one of the songs that I think is gonna be on Luv Is Rage 3. That sh*t, Uzi if you see this, send me it bro. I need that song, bro. Whatever thing that you leaked with me on FaceTime. Bro, send it to me. It was like two, three months ago.”

“He doesn’t drop the bangers he previews he’ll have some crazy streak if snippets then proceeds to drop some emo trash like demon high,” a second user wrote.

Needless to say, no matter which end of the spectrum fans fell, the shoutout created some unexpected promotion for Uzi’s forthcoming release, Luv Is Rage 3which they recently revealed to be their last album.

Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album,” Uzi told the crowd, during night two of their Pink Tape Tour in Chicago, in October. “No, relax. It’s okay […] After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour for Luv Is Rage 3. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life,” he responded, to an uproar of disappointment.

While the Philadelphia native has yet to disclose a release date for the project, on Christmas Day they dropped the emotional “Red Moon.”

Produced by TM88, Slo Meezy, C$D Sid, FnZ, and Macnificent, the joint features the 28-year-old at their most vulnerable with lyrics like: “I watched the moon tonight and it was red/ I wanna live together ’til we dead/ I tell myself that I can change/ Remind myself to not complain.”

Toward the end of the visual package for the song, the following text appears on the screen: “If someone can be away from you, let them be. Its better to be alone than losing yourself for approval. Love isn’t real, but with my imagination, I can make anything real.”
