JT and Lil Uzi Vert have been a cute little couple for quite some time now — and the City Girl recently demonstrated how far she’ll really go to protect her lover.
A Twitter post made by a presumptive troll on Monday (July 17) featured a very snarky comment about the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper, who isn’t what one might call “traditionally handsome.” Apparently, a user by the name of “Marie Hendrix” thought so, as well.

“This really JT man?” she wrote, quote-tweeting a photo of Lil Uzi Vert, who actually uses they/them pronouns.
Within minutes, JT responded. “Yes! & I’ll beat you in your mouth about him!”
Check out the tense exchange below.
While JT and Lil Uzi Vert are nothing if not a happy couple now, things weren’t always that way for the pair.
During the BET Awards on June 25, the City Girls star was filmed angrily throwing a phone at her boyfriend and calling them “a bitch-ass n-gga” and “a groupie” while sat in the audience.
Rumors suggested JT was upset that Uzi posed for a photo with Ice Spice, who they namedropped while performing during the awards show. “I’m fucking the dogshit out of this bitch, her wig came off twice/ She had a lil’ fro, she look like Ice Spice,” he rapped on an unreleased song.
However, a rep for JT told TMZ her blow-up “had nothing to do with Ice” and instead she “had become frustrated when she lost her seat after the audience shuffled around.”

In any case, the couple appeared to have resolved their dispute pretty quickly as they were seen leaving the show together at the end of the night.
A few days later, the Hip Hop power couple were spotted looking boo’d up once again at the prom-themed listening party for Uzi’s Pink Tape at New York City’s Irving Plaza on June 27.

In a video from the event, the Philadelphia and Miami rappers were seen dancing together as an unreleased song from the project blared through the speakers, with Uzi holding JT’s hand and spinning her around.
More footage from the party showed Uzi casually eating a Filet-O-Fish from McDonald’s as they pulled up the venue. Lil Baby and Trippie Redd were also in attendance to support their friend and collaborator.
