Joey Bada$$ and his girlfriend Serayah have spoken out after an emotional moment between the couple was caught on camera.
The two were filmed by paparazzi having an exchange in public earlier this week, which left Serayah crying.

The Brooklyn rapper has since criticized the intrusion into his and Serayah’s relationship, writing on Instagram in rap form: “TMZ all in our business they don’t even know the facts, they don’t see the shit we witness only what the cameras catch.”
Serayah also appeared to stand by her man, posting pictures of them together on Instagram along with the caption: “Down to ride to the very end.”
It is not known what the couple were talking about in the footage or the nature of their conversation.
The 29-year-old rapper and 28-year-old actress have been dating since last year and were recently loved up on vacation in St. Lucia.

Joey shared pictures from the trip on Instagram and said: “Fuck it girl let’s take a trip drop all ya shit and let’s leave.”
The two were originally rumored to be an item last February after he posted a picture of her on social media and she appeared as his love interest in the music video for “Show Me.”
At the time, Joey Bada$$ initially denied they were dating, saying: “We’re not [together]. Well, honestly, it wasn’t anything that wasn’t anticipated at first, but when we got back all the assets, like the photos, you know, I started to kind of like, ‘Oh, there’s something that could be done with these. This could tell the story.’
“So that’s kinda what I wanted to do. I knew it was gonna catch people by surprise a little bit. That was the hardest part, was kinda waiting 48 hours, to like, you know I mean? They was wilin.’”

However, shortly after, the Pro Era MC confirmed they were dating by posting a series of romantic snaps of him and Serayah to celebrate National Girlfriend Day.
Shortly afterwards, he said they were just friends.

Outside of his love life, Joey Bada$$ returned in January with his latest single, the KayCyy-assisted “Passports & Suitcases,” which fittingly marked a new sonic direction for the lyricist.
