Amazon.com is currently selling Joell Ortiz’s long-awaited sophomore album Free Agent three months early. The Brooklyn emcee and one-quarter of Slaughterhouse Tweeted that his album can be purchased from Amazon despite being pushed back to 2011.
As DX reported earlier, the album was slated for release today but was suddenly pushed back until 2011 by label E1 Entertainment. Free Agent is slated to feature Royce Da 5’9″, Fat Joe and the LOX, in addition to production from DJ Premier, Large Professor and Sean C and LV.

let me explain this to the dumb under me. The album leaked through amazon, meaning E1 didn’t notify whomever to tell Amazon to delay the release. It only takes one person to put it on the web. I just downloaded it because I’m not waiting until Feb its been delayed too long already. Great Album, a rappers rapper album feel me. Only minus is a bit of the songs have been released. Why postponed this to feb I don’t know, you would think they would take advantage of the holiday season. My favorite song is So Hard.
This is real hard. Jada hasn’t sounded this fresh in a minute.
1 listen and even if its a good album im actually a little dissapointed, maybe it grows but i think the brick was stronger.

Same as when I went to check it out. Apparently it was available to download for a short while, enough time for it to be downloaded by a few and leaked via piracy. Amazon realized it screwed up and E1 had them take it down, thus the message we saw saying it was unavailable until February.
