Drake and Joe Budden have an extensive history together having traded shots on songs like â4PM in Calabasas,â âMaking a Murderer Pt. 1,â âAfraidâ and â8AM in Charlotte.â
The long-simmering feud reignited last year when Drizzy sent the former Slaughterhouse rapper angry messages after he criticized his album For All the Dogs.

âTake a chill pill, Anthony,â the Toronto native allegedly messaged Budden, who read out the DMs on his eponymous podcast. âHave a drink. Throw on some instrumentals. Maybe write one of those, âFellas, do your thing, lemme do my thingâ joints for old timeâs sake. A little radio play would do you some good, papa.â
Interjecting with some commentary, Budden said: âIt sounds like he thinks that this is, like, Views beef time. I want to reiterate: Iâm happier than Iâve ever been. I donât have beef! I donât even get the message, but cool.â
He then revealed he replied to Drakeâs DMs by writing: âIâm not sure why you went crazy like that. I like the album. This ainât 2016, I got no beef. Get your shit off, though. As a matter of fact, nobodyâs happier for you than me.â
Budden had earlier said that For All the Dogs was aimed at âkidsâ and that Drake was sleeping with 25-year-olds, despite being almost 40 himself.

The media personality also celebrated when Kendrick Lamar dropped âNot Like Usâ and did a victory dance on his podcast while claiming that Drake had lost to the Compton rapper.
Despite his frequent criticism of Drizzy, Budden recently insisted that his legacy remains in tact and pointed to various albums of the 6 Godâs that he likes.
