Producer Dot Da Genius is looking to cash out in more ways than one with his pending divorce from singer Jhené Aiko.
According to Bossip, in addition to filing for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences,” Dot has also filed for spousal support.
The Brooklyn-born beatsmith has no plans on stopping there. He wants Aiko to cover his lawyer fees for the divorce and also wants to block the Cali chanteuse from collecting any alimony.
Additionally, a separation agreement will determine which property they’ll each be awarded.
While an exact date of separation is unclear, Aiko claims her relationship with Dot Da Genius reached its conclusion in July 2015.
In the time since the former couple’s separation, rumors of Aiko dating rapper and TWENTY88 collaborator Big Sean have heightened.
Most recently, Big Sean revealed that he and Aiko will release a follow-up to TWENTY88 in 2017.
