“Yo!!! J cole verse is so in the pocket on this All My Life , i can never listen to another offbeat rapper, bible,” Dupri wrote.

JD’s compliment comes as Billboard announced on Monday (May 22) that the Dr. Luke-produced “All My Life” debuted at No. 2 on the latest Hot 100 chart.

The lofty debut marks Durk’s highest-charting single as a lead artist (he reached No. 2 on Drake’s “Laugh Now, Cry Later”) and also ties Cole’s chart peak alongside “m y . l i f e.”

With his work on recent features like “All My Life,” Cole has been proving critics wrong and he collected an apology from 03 Greedo who criticized JC during an interview with VladTV in 2018, admitting he “hated” his music and called him “lame.”

But Greedo took to Twitter on Sunday (May 21) to address his comments from five years ago, sending a formal apology to J. Cole while praising him as a “top tier” rapper.

“Dear J.Cole i was 103% inaccurate about you being [trash],” he wrote. “You kill every fuccin feature. So id like to take my 2018 statements bacc @JColeNC is top tier. I was just trying to express myself believing n-ggas with street images don’t get counted as lyricist.”

Lil Durk even admitted that J. Cole got the best of him on their first collaboration — a rare feat.
