Jeezy Reveals His Most ‘Profitable’ Source Of Income

Jeezy is one of the most prolific artists in Hip Hop, but he’s also an astute businessman who’s built an impressive empire through an assortment of business ventures.

While speaking to Forbes New Money on Wednesday (September 6), the Atlanta rap icon revealed that aside from real estate and books, there is one portion of his financial portfolio that generates the most money for him.

“I would say my business endeavors are the most profitable,” Jeezy said. “I have a Steakhouse, a spirits company, I’ve built and solid spirits. I don’t know if you know about Avión tequila. Shoutout to my partner Ken Austin. We basically built it up, sold it to Pernod Ricard, which is probably one of the biggest deals of the year on the low.”

He continued: “And then, I just acquired Naud Spirits out of Cognac, France. We have Cognac, Vodka, and Gin. Defiance fuel water, which is an athlete’s water. Major, probably Dr. Pepper or somebody gon’ pick us up.

“I’ma tell you what they know, cause’ I can’t tell you what they don’t know cause’ I’m still street. I can’t give it all up, but what they do know. You feel me? My uncle always told me don’t let ya right hand know what ya left hand doin.”

Jeezy also made sure to mention that he doesn’t “do anything for just money” and “if I don’t have any equity in it, I don’t want to touch it or put my likeness to it.”

In addition to riding high on the success of his spirits and beverage partnerships, the 45-year-old musician also became a New York Times Best Selling author recently for the second time for his Adversity For Sale: Ya Gotta Believe memoir.

In honor of his major accomplishment, Jeezy’s wife and daughter celebrated him in a heart-melting clip on Instagram.

“Today I celebrate a remarkable milestone achieved by my husband, @jeezy, whose memoir ‘Adversity For Sale’ has soared to the New York Times bestsellers list,” Jeannie Mai Jenkins wrote.

“Your story has always been an inspiration to me, but seeing it in print has left me even more in awe of your strength and wisdom. You invited us into the most intimate corners of your life, where pain and triumph coexist.”

She continued: “This moment isn’t just a testament to your literary skills baby, but a recognition of your ability to inspire through the power of storytelling. I’m endlessly grateful for your voice in this world. Honored to walk beside you my love.”

Baby Monaco has her own Instagram account – assumably run by her parents – and she had a photo shoot posing in her high chair showing off Jeezy’s new book.

“Daddy, you’re the best bedtime story reader ever. And now your book on the New York Times best seller’s list too,” the caption reads.

    1. This dude is a clown who bought up real estate in Atlanta and proudly said he flipped it to cost way more and gentrified the same community he was raised in. Imagine, being proud of being a slumlord and hurting the people that made you who you are. And now you sell poison to people and think it makes you business savvy.

      1. And you’re the same person who’s ok with D. Trump being a crook for all of his life and his passed generations (his crooked daddy). You’ll vote for that demon and shun a man for living an honest life and making an honest living.

    2. When you don’t have s positive comment you should not respond. This Black man is making money the legal way, but yet you wanna hate on this dude get a life Jeezy keep your had up and make that legal money. Congrats

    3. Not that, because if he didn’t make it out it he would have been victim of it. Just like so many other poor families. Victimize the poor for being poor huh?

    5. These guys are business guys where black people fell to understand they partner and build not with other black people but with those going to help them get the bag

    6. If he is really a slum Lord with his properties then yes he ain’t doing right as a brotha and Blackman…him selling liquor can be an argument both ways but he isn’t forcing anyone to buy it…….and finally he making money that’s not gonna get him arrested. So I salute the Blackman.

    7. Hey stop making excuses. You grown now act like an adult. All them chains on your neck is the problem. And if you making money and not giving back to help others that’s a problem. Stay focused.
